Food-safety and allergen notice

Last updated 15 September 2026

Cook Me Anything uses AI. It can misidentify a product, overlook an ingredient or produce an unsuitable recipe. Always use your own judgement.

Allergies and dietary needs

Do not rely on a photo or generated recipe to identify allergens. Read every product label, check cross-contamination warnings and confirm every ingredient yourself. If an allergy is severe or uncertain, do not use the suggestion and seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.

Storage and freshness

Check use-by dates, packaging, smell, appearance and storage history. Do not use food that may be spoiled or that has been left at an unsafe temperature. AI cannot judge freshness or contamination from a photograph.

Preparation and cooking

Follow product packaging and trusted food-safety guidance. Prevent cross-contamination, wash hands and equipment, and make sure meat, poultry, fish, eggs and reheated foods are cooked safely. Take extra care when cooking for children, pregnant people, older adults or anyone with a weakened immune system.
